Some stories don’t start behind a camera — they start at 30,000 feet. For Jarred Stephens, a lifelong Fairbanks, Alaskan, with a decade of service in the Alaska Air National Guard, photography wasn’t a career he planned. It’s one that found him.

As a Boom Operator — Responsible for in-flight refueling — Jarred’s early military career took him across the globe. With each new destination, he picked up a camera to document what he was seeing. Friends and colleagues quickly took notice of his eye for a moment, and requests started coming in. What began as a personal passion quietly grew into something more.

Today, Jarred is a professional commercial photographer based in Fairbanks, Alaska, with 7 years of experience serving clients across a range of industries. He specializes in real estate photography, event coverage, and hospitality photography — bringing a technical precision and creative instinct to every project. Whether he’s capturing the clean lines of a luxury listing, the energy of a live event, or the atmosphere of a hospitality brand, Jarred delivers imagery that tells a story and drives results.

His work doesn’t stop at ground level. As a FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot and licensed private pilot, Jarred brings a rare aerial perspective to his photography that few in the industry can offer.
